ALCOSYS offers the services of its Information Assurance Division.

    Because of its increased and specialized work in the areas of Computer Security and Information Systems Security, ALCOSYS, Inc. offers the services of its Information Assurance (IA) Division to its customers. This division is responsible for the development and fielding of computer and information systems in accordance with standards set by the federal government’s systems security certification and accreditation bodies.

    The company’s services in this area range from user awareness and training through secured systems development and documentation to security compliance validation. ALCOSYS currently provides the technical and analytical services required to:

    • Deliver technical/systems engineering services, which enhance aviation safety and security, to the FAA since 1991.


    • Research and develop both a Contingency Plan and Security Plan for the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA’s) Computer Security Incident Response Capability (CSIRC) in order to help the FAA achieve and maintain the highest possible information security posture.


    • Review and execute IA tasks for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) through the analysis of current processes and applicable DISA databases, utilizing requirements checklists, and sample templates.


    • Support Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) Compliance Validation (CV) and the DoD Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT). These services include the development and review of IAVA checklists, and the development and analyses of lessons-learned and associated Information Assurance Documents.
