	ALCOSYS supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in process improvement and in their integrated Capability Maturity Model (iCMM). ( 2002-10-09 )
	Most process improvements involve automation or information technology in some way. ALCOSYS� professional services staff will help perform process improvement activity, using software to develop a system directly from the process flowcharts and teaching your company's staff how to develop and maintain the resulting system along the way. ALCOSYS, Inc. provides high quality engineering and computer-related services with a focus on process improvement through the application of ISO 9000 principles and, more recently, through a formal system developed by the FAA for assuring quality. The FAA�s integrated Capability Maturity Model (FAA-iCMM) is a comprehensive approach to quality in Information Technology (IT) acquisition operations that draws heavily from the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMM). It has been streamlined and tailored, however, to the specific needs of both the FAA and government IT environments. ALCOSYS� reliance on the FAA iCMM has brought quality results to the FAA and other clients. We will employ the FAA iCMM to ensure that quality is woven into the fabric of our support activities to the FAA.
