ALCOSYS Information Assurance (IA) Services

ALCOSYS, Inc. supports the DoD’s Information Systems Security Office in its mission to develop, test, deploy, and provide lifecycle support for multiple security level (MSL) technologies that ensure secure interoperability capabilities throughout the DoD. This involves systems evaluation, documentation development, and on-site support of MSL systems at operational sites utilizing the DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP).
We provide services to support Information Assurance (IA) Vulnerability Alerts (VA) Compliance Validation (CV) and the DoD Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT). These services include, but are not limited to, supporting IA compliance reviews of information technology (IT) assets to facilitate baseline accreditation, the development and review of IAVA checklists, the development and analyses of lessons-learned, and associated Information Assurance Documents.
We also deliver services that include the review of IA documentation, participation in technical meetings, on-site observations, development of automated IA tools, and preparation of technical papers for DoD information systems. We support the assessment of DoD’s information system and technology security posture for compliance with security policies and directives, and determine when security discrepancies exist.
