Engineering Data Reduction and Analysis
	ALCOSYS uses engineering data reduction as a process of obtaining only the useful data from a larger set of data through computation, summarization, aggregation, or other abstracting methods. We use data analysis in applying statistical thinking in day-to-day activities and applying the concept for the purpose of continuous improvement. ALCOSYS promotes the use of statistical thinking and techniques to apply them to make educated decisions whenever there is variation in data. We assemble existing data from specific environments and conduct a comprehensive assessment of the nature and threshold of the results. Data becomes information when it becomes relevant to your decision problem. Information becomes fact when the data can support it. Fact becomes knowledge when it is used in the successful completion of the decision process.
